**Responsibilities**:
- Provide high-end technical production services for clients and hirers of commercial venues.
- Work as part of a technical team to deliver audio, lighting, and vision services for concerts and events held in various venues.
- Perform a range of duties depending on specialty and event allocation, which may include:
- Setup, programming, and operation of lighting using a Grand MA 2 Full size or similar console.
- Setup and operation of live audio equipment, including mixing on a Midas Pro X or a Midas HD96 Heritage audio console.
- Setup and operation of vision equipment, such as a Barco S3 or Blackmagic ATEM 2 vision switcher.
- Recording live audio using MADI or Dante formats with Protools.
- Live camera work for events or concerts.
- Stage management for shows/events.
- Head of department responsibilities.
- Work within a flexible 24-hour, 7-day roster
- Perform other production, operations, or technical-related duties as directed.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 5 years of professional technical experience in the live production, corporate, or events industry, preferably within a performing arts venue or convention centre.
- Practical competencies in one or more of the following areas:
- Programming and operation of lighting using a Grand MA 2 Full size or similar console.
- Setup, operation, and mixing of live audio on a Midas Pro X or a Midas HD96 Heritage audio console.
- Setup and operation of a Barco S3 or Blackmagic ATEM 2 vision switcher.
- Recording of live audio using MADI or Dante formats with Protools.
- Live camera work for events or concerts.
- Stage management for shows/events.
- Head of department responsibilities.
- Physical agility to undertake tasks that may involve working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written, to understand and comply with directions and effectively explain services and standards to hirers.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as the sole technician on an event from setup to operation and pack-down, as well as part of a small team.
