What Your Day Could Look Like
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you'll help keep care moving across our hospital—supporting pharmacists, clinicians and patients so safe, timely access to medicines is never in doubt. You'll be part of a team that values collaboration and practical problem‐solving to deliver great outcomes for our community.
Every Day, You'll Contribute By
* Getting the right medicine to the right person, on time—dispensing under pharmacist supervision so patients start or continue therapy without delay.
* Keeping wards ready for care—optimising stock levels, rotating inventory and reducing waste across clinical areas.
* Lifting quality and safety—preparing sterile and non‐sterile products to defined standards that protect patients and staff.
* Powering the process—maintaining accurate data and PBS claim workflows so our service is efficient, compliant and patient‐centred.

Here's What Will Help You Thrive In This Role
* Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support (or equivalent); community pharmacy experience with ward‐stock competency completed shortly after commencement.
* Proven accuracy interpreting prescriptions and producing clear, correct labels.
* Working knowledge of hospital stock management and PBS processes.
* Collaborative teammate with strong communication and respect for patient confidentiality.
You'll stand out if you have experience in hospital sterile production or cytotoxic compounding, and/or prior work in a regional health setting.
