The Role: Disability Support Worker
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Providing intimate personal care (toileting, showering, feeding, dressing) to ensure the well-being and dignity of our customers
* Supporting customers in their homes and communities, promoting independence and social engagement
* Coaching independent living skills (e.g., cooking, domestic tasks, social activities)
* Administering medication and following support plans, ensuring the health and safety of our customers
* Facilitating community access and recreational activities, enhancing the quality of life for our customers
* Assisting with diabetes management and PEG feeding, with training provided if required
**Shifts & Flexibility**
We operate on a 24/7 roster, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and inactive sleepovers. We value flexibility and are looking for team players who can adapt to changing needs.
**Requirements**
* Full Driver's licence and full comprehensive car insurance
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
* First Aid/CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)
* Qualifications in Disability or Community Services are highly regarded
