Manual machinist

Busy jobbing workshop in Bayswater looking for Manual Machinist to join our ever-expanding business. We have purchased new machines and are looking to grow our business. Excellent opportunity to become an integral part of the team.

We service numerous local OEM Equipment manufactures as well as having our own range of Crushing Equipment that we produce parts for.

We offer a stable work environment with plenty of overtime available as well as an attendance bonus.

• Mechanical Trade Certificate in Machining or Fitting/Machining.
• Prior experience with manual machining of large components.
• Experience with both milling/floor borer and turning would be an advantage.
• Confidence and experience on CNC machines would be a bonus as we have CNC machines operating as well.
• Must have the ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings.
• A positive attitude towards problem solving with the capability of reviewing technical problems in detail.
• Able to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
• Must have Australian work rights for this position.
• The person we are seeking needs to enjoy working with a small team and being flexible in their approach to work variety. We have a team of personnel that are all willing to contribute to whatever needs doing to meet our customer's requirements and any new employee needs to work well in that culture.

This is a full time position with an immediate start available.
