Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting in the preparation of General and Special Purpose Financial statements
* Assisting with year-end and month-end journals
* Preparing BAS and IAS
* Preparing Payroll tax returns
* Liaising with ATO and ASIC
* Reviewing and liaising with clients to complete work in a timely fashion
* Assorted Advisory work
* Working with and having direct contact with a diverse client base across a broad range of industry sectors
About You
What you'll need:
* Recently completed a Bachelor of Commerce / Accounting or similar (double degrees encouraged)
* Willingness to undertake the Chartered Accounting (CA) programme
* High level of attention to detail and confident communication skills
* Excellent time management and strong organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
* Advanced computer literacy skills, especially with Microsoft Excel
* Experience with Xero/MYOB (desired)
