Seeking a Epiroc E7C Simba Production Driller long hole drilling experience to join their underground drilling team, 7/7 days/nights on/off, residential based with accommodation provided for duration of assignment.

Currently, they are seeking a Production Long hole Driller to join their operations team on a 1-week-on, 1-week-off rotating roster based in Broken Hill, NSW.
This position is particularly suitable for individuals who possess a strong background in underground autonomous /manual Epiroc and Sandvik drills operating experience. The ideal candidate for this opportunity should be willing relocate to or is currently residing in Broken Hills or surrounding regional areas, and or DIDO options in Far Western Central N.S.W. areas to the point of hire.
Requirements:
* Operate the autonomous Epiroc Simba E7C / Sandvik production long hole drill rigs to drill accurate and efficient production long holes according to stopes design, gradient and profile.
* Ensure correct collaring, depth control, and alignment for optimal blast outcomes and minimal dilution.
* Adhere strictly to underground mine SOP and OH&S protocols compliance and hazard management requirements.
You must hold Certificate III & IV in Drilling Operations/Underground Metalliferous Mining (production long hole drilling) with strong ability to read plans, interpret stopes, and adjust for up/down hole conditions while following safety and emergency protocols. Strong communication skills are essential for building client relationships. Additional licences and training such as Forklift/HR, Work at Heights, Hazard Recognition & Controls, remote/autonomous tech, and cable bolting are highly valued. A resilient, can-do attitude and proven proficiency operating Epiroc/Sandvik long hole drilling machinery safely and efficiently are required.
