The Sales Consultant is directly responsible for selling used vehicles to achieve gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction The Sales Consultant is required to follow up with customer leads and assists in determining the customers vehicle needs. There is also a requirement to build customer loyalty and increases customer satisfaction through professionalism, trustworthiness, sincerity and attitude.
Responsibilities will include;
- Greets all customers promptly; provides timely professional service.
- Completes customer paperwork promptly and accurately.
- Meets or exceeds monthly Income and sales targets
- Provides excellent customer service by listening to customer inquiries and requests, asking questions to identify needs, resolving customer concerns, and sells additional services when appropriate.
- Understanding the characteristics, capabilities, and features of all cars, and providing the potential customer with detailed information, including comparing different competitive models.
- Organise and carry out a vehicle demonstration drive with all walk-in customers
- Sells finance-Insurance products.
You will need;
- Minimum 2 years experience in a service department in a comparable environment
- Full valid driving licence held for a minimum of 6 months with a good driving history
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of performing data entry tasks
- Ability to work autonomously when needed and work cohesively as part of a fast-paced team
- IT literate, and familiar with web-based process and stock management systems
- Professional & courteous manner with both customers and fellow staff
- Be punctual and reliable
