We are seeking experienced Senior Performance Testers to lead performance testing strategy and execution across complex enterprise systems in a large government environment. This role is suited to a performance testing specialist who can define long-term approaches, integrate testing into agile delivery, and provide clear performance insights to technical and business stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing a performance testing strategy, including automation-led approaches
* Integrating performance testing into scaled Agile delivery
* Designing, scripting, executing, and reporting performance tests using tools such as LoadRunner
* Creating detailed performance test plans, simulation models, and schedules
* Analysing system performance across multi-technology platforms
* Identifying and communicating performance risks and recommendations
* Producing clear performance reports and ensuring documentation meets recordkeeping standards
Mandatory experience & qualifications:
* 6+ years' experience as a Performance Test Lead
* Strong experience with LoadRunner
* Script development experience across protocols such as Web (HTTP/HTML), Web Services, Java, Siebel, Mobile, and Citrix/VDI
* Strong SQL and troubleshooting skills
* Experience with performance analysis, monitoring, and test estimation
* Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies
* ISTQB Foundation Certificate (or equivalent)
* ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst (or equivalent)
* ISTQB Advanced Level Agile Technical Tester (or equivalent)
* ISTQB Foundation Agile Extension Certificate (or equivalent)
Desirable:
* ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or Test Automation Engineer certifications
* Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices
* Certification in performance or automation tools
