The Role:
* We are looking for an experienced IT Operations candidate to work in our built environment, overseeing IT Operations success through effective delivery management of our partners. This encompasses connectivity, disaster recovery, security, and maintenance of IT infrastructure within our buildings.

The Role:
Providing platform development, deployment, networking and operation skills for new and existing buildings platforms, digital products and services for our customers. This includes traditional network connectivity, topology, Wi-Fi connectivity, CCTV solutions and other security systems used by our assets.
* Managing maintenance, support and administration activities to maximise the quality and security of platforms and services in built environment.
* Advising on operational design practices to maximise operational value, quality and security in built environments.
Location:
This role is based in London, Victoria, and offers hybrid working, with the majority of the week in the office. We recommend discussing arrangements with the hiring manager to find the best fit for both you and the role.
The Team:
* You will be part of the Data and Technology team, leading assessment, analysis, planning and design of platforms, including risk assessment.
What you will be responsible for:
* Engaging with delivery management colleagues to ensure correct platforms are available in a timely manner. Evaluating the quality of project outputs against agreed service acceptance criteria.
* Assessing, analyzing, developing, documenting and implementing changes based on requests for change.
* Reviewing system software updates and identifying those that merit action. Investigating and coordinating the resolution of potential and actual service problems. Advising on the correct and effective use of system software.
* Managing capacity modeling and forecasting activities. Providing advice to support the design of service components, including designing in flexible and scalable capacity. Ensuring the correct implementation of standards and procedures.
* Maintaining security administration processes and ensuring all support requests are handled according to procedures. Providing guidance on access rights and privileges.
* Using database management system software and tools, and knowledge of logical database schemata, to investigate problems, collect performance statistics and create reports.
* Creating, improving, and supporting quality IT services with optimal utilization of storage resources, ensuring data security, availability, and integrity of business data.
* Ensuring storage and backup systems operate to required service levels. Developing standards, procedures, and guidelines for data protection and disaster recovery for all business applications and data using online and offline storage devices.
* Maintaining the network support process and ensuring support requests are handled according to procedures. Using network management software and tools to investigate and diagnose network issues, collect performance data, and generate reports, collaborating with users, staff, and suppliers as needed.
* Initiating and monitoring actions to investigate and resolve issues in systems, processes, and services. Determining problem fixes/remedies and assisting with their implementation.
* Handling incidents according to procedures. Investigating escalated incidents, seeking resolution, and facilitating recovery post-incident.
* Organizing knowledge assets and managing their lifecycle, including identification, capture, classification, storage, and maintenance. Implementing knowledge management initiatives.
Your skills, experience and qualifications:
Essential criteria
* Knowledge of building management systems and property technologies
* Understanding of Agile delivery concepts
* Experience with common software, hardware, networking, cloud and non-cloud technologies in physical environments.
