Manager, Regulatory Debt Management Manager, Financial Operations, Treasury, and Taxation These are EL1, permanent roles, located in Traralgon, Sydney, Melbourne, or Canberra, with other locations considered. Salary ranges from $123,444 to $144,386 plus 15.4% superannuation, depending on experience. Applications close at 11:59pm AEDT, 19 May 2025.
The team The Enterprise Services Group includes Finance, Procurement, Property and Contracts, Performance Reporting and Planning, and the ERP Program. The group provides support, advice, and analysis services across ASIC.
The roles EL1 - Manager, Regulatory Debt Management Manage a team overseeing debt management of regulatory revenue, ensuring compliance with ASIC policies and government guidance. Provide expertise on debt management legislation, including the Fees for Services Acts, PGPA Act, ASIC Supervisory Cost Recovery Levy, and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme of Last Resort Levy. Oversee Administered Debt Management processes and stakeholder relationships. Develop team capabilities through mentoring, coaching, and managing complex fee reviews and complaints.
About you Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or related discipline. Membership in a professional accounting body (CPA, CA, CIMA) is highly beneficial. Proven ability to present complex information, resolve stakeholder queries, and provide specialist advice. Strong business writing and verbal communication skills. Ability to mentor and coach team members, analyze complex issues, and interpret legislation.
EL1 - Manager, Financial Operations, Treasury, and Taxation Lead a team responsible for accounts receivable, payable, treasury, and taxation. Provide strategic advice and financial support to senior management, manage ASIC's tax obligations, court cost recoveries, and relationships with the Reserve Bank of Australia. Ensure compliance and effective governance to mitigate financial risks. Collaborate with stakeholders like the ATO and ANAO to align financial operations with strategic objectives. Contribute to financial governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
About you Relevant qualifications and membership in a professional accounting body. Experience leading finance teams in complex environments, providing high-quality advice, and engaging stakeholders. Strong communication, influence, and negotiation skills. Demonstrate initiative, innovation, and problem-solving skills, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
