Mackay Regional Council is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to join our Development Planning & Engineering team. This is a hands‐on role for someone who enjoys being out on site, working with industry, and ensuring civil infrastructure is delivered safely, compliantly and to a standard our community deserves
This is a Level 4-5 position
As a Construction Inspector, you will provide monitoring and inspection services across active development sites to ensure works comply with Council approvals, conditions and standards. You'll be a key point of contact between Council and the construction industry, helping deliver public infrastructure and parks assets that meet community need
s.At Level 5, the role includes greater involvement in complex or critical infrastructure, along with providing higher-level technical input and mentoring support to planning and engineering colleague
