Job Description
Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort, an idyllic resort based in The Hunter Valley, is looking for an experienced leader to fill the role of Hotel Manager.
We are looking for a positive person with high standards and an ability to build a team to run the business at its optimum efficiency.
The role is primarily responsible for Hotel Management, Operations, Maintenance and Strata Management.
About The Role You will draw on your passion, initiative, drive and strategic approach to deliver a great product for our guests
Manage the day‑to‑day profitability, presentation and operation of the entire property
Manage financial forecasting, rostering, and implementing promotions to increase sales
Develop and manage the property team to reach their highest potential
Responsible for making strategic decisions relating to increasing Rev PAR for the company through collating and analysing data as required Expected Hours: Full time, 38 hours per week
Location: Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort – 15 Thompsons Rd, Pokolbin NSW 2320
Salary: $110,000–$115,000 (excluding super)

Qualifications Extensive operational and financial management experience within a Hotel environment
Demonstrated strategic and operational leadership experience, with the ability to drive a culture of accountability and promote staff engagement
A proven track record of maintaining excellent product and service standards whilst maximising revenue and minimising expenses
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with guests, owners and staff
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning
Ability to build, maintain and seek new opportunities / partnerships within the local market
A positive and energetic attitude
