Senior Sous Chef Role
The Senior Sous Chef will oversee all day-to-day kitchen operations and support the Head Chef and Executive Chef in managing the team.
* Assist Head Chef: The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills to step into the role of Head Chef during their absence and maintain smooth kitchen operations.
* Food Preparation & Cooking: This senior position requires a highly skilled professional to lead preparation and execution of food to established quality and presentation standards, including canap's, plated meals, and shared feasts.
* Staff Supervision & Training: The successful candidate will supervise kitchen staff, mentor junior team members, and provide clear direction during service and prep.
* Menu Development: Collaboration with the Head and Executive Chefs is essential for new menu creation, contributing to specials, seasonal menus, and bespoke event offerings.
* Inventory & Stock Control: Maintaining stock levels and ensuring timely, high-quality ordering, along with proper storage and rotation practices, is crucial for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
* Health, Safety & Compliance: This role demands attention to detail and adherence to food hygiene regulations both on-site and at off-site venues.
* Customer Satisfaction & Event Delivery: Delivering high-quality food in line with client expectations at off-site catering events, troubleshooting in real time to maintain service flow and presentation standards under pressure.
