The Role
This position involves leading multiple projects, supervising staff, and providing expert advice to stakeholders on strategic planning initiatives and opportunities.
Your responsibilities would include:
* Providing leadership and mentorship to staff, including setting performance objectives and identifying development needs;
* Preparing, monitoring, and reviewing local planning schemes and policies;
* Maintaining compliant work practices and recordkeeping frameworks.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A tertiary qualification in town planning or an equivalent discipline;
* Comprehensive knowledge and experience in implementing planning legislation and processes;
* Extensive experience in leading people and teams, including mentoring staff;
* Significant experience in delivering local planning schemes and policies in urban areas.
