About the Role
Reporting to the Construction Manager, this role delivers end-to-end project administration across BAU Sales, and Hire contracts. Your role will see you work provide project support across a diverse range of industries not limited to Education and Construction by assisting our Project Managers to deliver both Hire and Sales projects. To do this will see you coordinate daily administrative functions to ensure deadlines are met, complete subcontractor onboarding and compliance to site and WHS regulations; raise purchase orders and sell projects once completed. You will be a key part of the Ausco BAU team helping exceed customer expectations in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide professional and responsive customer service to employees, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and clients, working closely with internal stakeholders to meet customer and business standards and support continuous improvement in customer satisfaction.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders, clients, and suppliers to ensure seamless coordination and service delivery.
* Coordinate and deliver administrative support across all project phases, including data collection and reporting; accurate system entry; maintenance of auditable project files and registers; collation of site and client documentation; meeting coordination and minute-taking; processing invoices and purchase orders; procurement of site supplies; and management of MYOSH tasks and MDR support.
* Maintain comprehensive records and databases to track project progress.
* Support project mobilisation activities where required, including coordination of travel, accommodation, and site vehicles; managing border and quarantine requirements; and working with HR to ensure timely completion of employee documentation, medicals, inductions, and approvals.
* Assist with project commercial administration by coordinating supplier and subcontractor contracts and pricing, ensuring payments are approved and processed in line with contractual and authority requirements, and supporting cost forecasting, variations, contract close-outs, and accurate cost reporting.
* Comply with all health, safety, environment, and quality requirements; promptly report hazards and incidents; and actively promote a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.
About You
You are a proactive, organised, and detail-oriented administrator who thrives in a project-driven environment. You build strong working relationships, manage competing priorities effectively, and take pride in delivering high-quality outcomes.
* A relevant qualification in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field (advantageous).
* Experience in the construction, building, or resources industries (highly regarded).
* Excellent written, verbal, and numerical communication skills.
* A customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Experience using Navision, Aconex, and Insite/Inspire (highly regarded).
* Strong planning, organisational, and time management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
