We are seeking an experienced Health and Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of seniors by leading our community wellbeing program.
You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing weekly workshops at our showroom, as well as developing a rolling 3-month workshop calendar.
The focus will be on delivering priority topics such as sleep and pain management, mobility, balance and fall prevention, gentle exercise, nutrition for seniors, brain health and memory, emotional wellbeing and stress, technology for seniors, and independent living and home safety.
This role requires a compassionate, organised, and proactive individual with a background in nursing, aged care, community health or allied health.
You must have strong organisational and coordination skills, confident communication abilities, and a genuine passion for healthy ageing and community wellbeing.
A high level of empathy, professionalism, and reliability are essential.
About You
* Essential Skills and Qualifications:
o Background in nursing, aged care, community health or allied health.
o Experience working with seniors or community health programmes.
o Strong organisational and coordination skills.
o Confident communicator and comfortable facilitating group sessions.
o Genuine passion for healthy ageing and community wellbeing.
o High level of empathy, professionalism, and reliability.
* Desirable Qualifications:
o Workshop or group programme facilitation experience.
o Partnership management experience.
o Event or programme coordination background.
o Basic understanding of mobility, fall prevention, chronic condition management.
o First Aid / CPR certification.
