This involves maintaining an organization's computer systems' workflows, ensuring the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, including fixing network issues, updating equipment, and software.
This position requires technical support in managing networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures.
Troubleshooting moderately complex system hardware and software issues is also key to this role.
Key responsibilities include training end users on the proper use of hardware and software, performing software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
Maintaining optimum performance levels by monitoring and tuning systems is critical. Ensuring workstation/server data integrity through standard software and hardware solutions is vital.
Regularly conducting hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines is necessary.
