At Gamze Smokehouse we are a rapidly growing Smallgoods Manufacturing business that is family owned and operated. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Admin/Office Assistant to join our team. This role supports the smooth day-to-day operations of our office and provides essential administrative assistance across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and in person
* Support sales staff with order processing, customer enquiries, and related tasks
* Manage accounts receivable and payable, including data entry and invoice processing
* Experience with Xero accounting software is required
* Assist with weekly/fortnightly payroll
* Maintain organised filing systems and general office records
* Prepare and assist with BAS and other compliance documentation
* Perform general administrative duties as required to support management and operations
* Must have valid Australian work rights
Ideal Candidate:
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
* Experience with administrative, accounting, or payroll tasks is preferred
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Must be available to work during standard business hours
