Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Management Accounts Officer to join our dynamic team.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth financial operation of our property management division, maintaining compliance, and delivering outstanding service to landlords and tenants.
Key Responsibilities
Trust Accounting: Manage daily trust account receipts and payments, redirection of notices and outgoings, entry of all invoices, complete monthly trust account reconciliations in line with NSW Fair Trading regulations, assist with annual audits and compliance reporting, and assist sales trust accounting when required.
Landlord & Tenant Accounts: Enter new landlord details & properties, process rental receipts, and allocate payments accurately.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure adherence to the Property & Stock Agents Act, prepare end-of-month reports, support the team with audit documentation and compliance checks.
Communication & Support
Respond to landlord, tenant, and supplier account queries promptly.
Assist property managers to resolve financial issues.
Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in property management accounts or real estate trust accounting.
Strong knowledge of NSW trust account legislation.
Proficiency in property management software (Property Tree).
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
