The Opportunity:
Our client is an Australian owned family run business that operates across Mining Civils, Main Road Civils and Infrastructure projects across the Pilbara.
We are seeking HSE Advisor, 2/1 roster, ex Perth, 3 months of work potentially longer and if all goes well there is opportunities to convert to full time permanent.
You must be either an Australian Citizen, or Permanent Resident of Australia to be considered for this position, we are not offering sponsorship!
The position:
The HSE Advisor will work across multiple projects throughout the Northwest and greater Kimberly regions, mainly bulk earthworks, roads and major infrastructure projects, delivering safety protocols, auditing, managing incidents, taking part in toolbox talks and overseeing safety training for all staff both residential and onsite.
The Requirements:
1. Tertiary qualifications HSE essential, and Cert IV Training and Assessing would be highly advantageous
2. Able to work a 2/1 roster FIFO from Perth Only and start within a week or two
3. Oversee all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) aspects at project locations, including coordination of HSE reporting and administrative tasks
4. Support the implementation and upkeep of our ISO14001 and ISO45001 certified HSE framework at both site and operational levels
5. Previous exposure to projects across mining, MRWA & Infrastructure projects, bulk earthworks
6. Play a crucial role in incident investigations by gathering evidence, recording statements, establishing timelines, and compiling other pertinent information
7. A pro-active, can-do attitude and the ability to hit the ground running is essential for this role
8. Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and audits as needed.
