Factory Sorter Allrounders / Forklift Operators Paper Shredding & Recycling Location: Wetherill Park Our client is a leading paper shredding and recycling company, providing secure document destruction and environmentally responsible recycling solutions. Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking reliable Factory Allrounders / Forklift Operators to support day-to-day operations within their recycling facility. This role is based on a factory floor and involves working in a dusty environment. PPE will be provided. Applicants must be comfortable working under these conditions. This is a mixed role, combining forklift operations with general factory and sorting duties. What’s on Offer Monday to Friday, with potential weekend work Day Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm Hourly Rate: $36.70 penalties & allowances Ongoing work with temp-to-permanent opportunities Key Responsibilities Sorting paper and recyclable materials on conveyor belts and sorting tables Sorting material for secure destruction Operating shredding and baling equipment in accordance with safety and operational standards Accurately recording inbound and outbound load information Performing pre-start checks on plant and equipment Carrying out regular cleaning of equipment and work areas Maintaining a clean and safe facility at all times Emptying pallets and container bins Ensuring stock is returned to correct locations Checking loads are secure before movement Moving goods packed on pallets or crates around the facility Assisting with unloading and reloading of local trucks Loading export containers and semi-trailers within allowable load limits Checking quality of incoming and outgoing materials and reporting any non-compliance to the supervisor About You To be successful in this role, you will have: A current Forklift Licence Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods A strong work ethic with a positive, enthusiastic attitude Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Strong communication skills Excellent attention to detail and time management skills A safety-first mindset and commitment to quality standards Essential Requirements Previous factory, recycling, or sorting experience (desirable) Physically fit and capable of manual handling Reliable transport Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test Ability to obtain a police clearance
