What you'll be doing

Look no further as this is the role for you Covering a period of parental leave, this 12-month fixed-term, part-time role (24 hours per week) plays a key role in supporting our people and leaders across the business.
You'll be someone who enjoys spending time getting to know our teams, understanding what they need, and tailoring practical, thoughtful HR & Safety solutions that make a real and meaningful difference to people's working lives. Based in Rutherford, the role offers hybrid work flexibility by agreement with the team leader.
You will also be responsible for:
* Managing a caseload of end-to-end recruitment.
* Assisting HR & Safety Advisors with injured worker support, performance management processes, and reporting.
* Providing clear, practical guidance on industrial relations and employment matters.
* Coordinating and delivering engaging induction and onboarding experiences.
* Maintaining accurate employee records and database systems.
* Providing administrative support for key HR programs.

What you'll bring to the table
You're someone who is passionate about people and motivated by creating workplaces where employees can do their best work safely and confidently. You take the time to listen, understand different perspectives, and tailor your approach to achieve outcomes that matter. You will bring:
* Qualifications in HR, WHS, or a related discipline.
* Experience in a generalist HR and/or safety role.
* Knowledge of safety and employment legislation.
* Strong organisation and time-management skills.
* A collaborative and approachable communication style.
* High attention to detail and confidence managing confidential information.
* Demonstrate proven experience in an administrative support or customer service role.
* Show strong computer literacy, including expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and an e-Recruitment and/or Customer Relationship Management system.
* Hold a current driver's licence.
