Event Supporter Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Event Supporter at the Maryborough Showgrounds & Equestrian Park. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic outdoor environment, providing support in the planning and delivery of event logistics.
Job Responsibilities:
* Provide support in the planning and delivery of event logistics on-site, including site preparation, setup, and bump-in.
* Conduct inspections of areas and facilities and complete relevant tasks related to the reinstatement of venue/site post-events.
* Undertake minor repairs and maintenance activities, including cleaning of venue amenities, canteens, buildings, stables/yards, and public areas.
* Assist in the delivery of venue maintenance schedules in conjunction with the Venue Operations Manager.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrated knowledge and experience in event and/or venue preparation. A willingness to work weekends and flexible rosters is also essential.
