Ayan Infotech are looking for a Business Development Representative for a long term contract job opportunity in Sydney.
Role Overview:
As a Business Development Representative, you will be on the front lines of our growth strategy, focusing on generating new business opportunities. This role involves cold calling and emailing prospects, building relationships, and setting up meetings for the sales team. You will qualify leads and ensure they meet our ideal client profile while helping to create a pipeline of sales opportunities.

Type: 6 months contract, with a view for extension based on performance
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls and emails, and other digital channels to generate leads.
* Build trust with potential clients, handle objections, and effectively communicate our value proposition.
* Qualify leads by assessing their fit with our ideal client profile, budget, and needs.
* Organise and participate in networking events, conferences, and partner events to expand business opportunities.
* Assist with digital marketing efforts to drive new lead generation and awareness.
* Maintain detailed records of outreach efforts and track progress toward lead generation goals.
Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience in a Business Development Rep (BDR) role, ideally within B2B phone and email-based sales.
* Cold calling and cold emailing experience.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with prospects.
* Tenacious follow-up skills and a results-driven mindset.
* Experience in handling objections and overcoming challenges in conversations.
* Previous experience in sales is required, especially within IT professional services or similar industries.
* Any experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) will be highly regarded.
