With 10–15 years of professional experience, you will bring strategic design thinking, technical excellence, and leadership to shape places that are inclusive, resilient, and future-ready.
The Opportunity
* Lead and contribute to the development of strategic urban design projects, ranging from precinct masterplans to spatial input into infrastructure business cases of metropolitan and regional significance.
* Apply strong design thinking and technical capabilities as part of high-performing multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated outcomes across transport, land use, public realm, and community infrastructure.
* Deliver evidence-based urban design that is spatially compelling, context-sensitive, and easy to communicate to diverse audiences.
* Support business development by identifying new opportunities, staying abreast of industry trends, and engaging with our global design leaders and practice networks.
* Execute responsibilities as outlined in Arup's Quality Management System (e.g., reviews process, workplace health and safety, etc.).

* Demonstrates knowledge of NSW planning, and design policies and priorities.
* Skills in analysing and interpreting data.
* Demonstrates collaboration and experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
* Project management skills including contract management, commercial acumen, and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary inputs.
* Solution creation and management oriented — ability to manage issues as they arise and guide a team to the solution.
