At our operations in Western Australia, we extract and process rich mineral sands into a range of valuable products which are exported to international markets.
Tronox's Kwinana pigment plant has been part of the local community for more than 30 years and is a long-term stable employer of choice in the Kwinana Industrial Area, a world class industrial estate.
The facility forms part of Tronox's global operations and plays a vital role in supporting their worldwide customer base, strengthening its position as one world's largest producers of titanium dioxide pigment.
Who we're looking for:
It's important you're willing to learn and develop your skills over this apprenticeship and have a good attitude and strong work ethic.
You will be willing to work as part of an experienced team, under close supervision and at times independently.
In addition, you will;
Have excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills
Have great attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
Have the ability to meet strict deadlines and cooperate with others
Be punctual, reliable and presentable
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of relevant workplace health and safety requirements
What we are looking for:
To be successful, you will meet the following criteria:
Completion of Secondary Schooling(Essential)
Pre-apprenticeship qualification Certificate II in Electrotechnology (UEE*****) or equivalent(Highly Desirable)
Interest in electrical or technical systems
Willingness to learn and follow instructions, with a proactive attitude toward skill development
Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing tasks safely and accurately
Reliable, safety-focused approach with a positive and motivated work ethic
Enjoyment of practical, hands-on work in a fast-paced team environment
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong computer literacy and a readiness to learn new systems
Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment and drug & alcohol screening
