Job Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Pastrycook to work with us. As a Pastrycook, you will be responsible for preparing and decorating a wide range of baked products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing doughs, batters, and fillings
* Baking, assembling, and decorating cakes, tarts, pastries, and desserts
* Following recipes and portion guidelines to maintain consistency and quality
* Monitoring baking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area according to food safety regulations
* Managing inventory of baking ingredients and supplies
* Collaborating with chefs and kitchen staff for menu planning and seasonal specials
* Creating new recipes and trialling innovative baking techniques
* Ensuring all products meet presentation standards before sale or service
* Adhering to occupational health and safety procedures
