About the role
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our new Zambrero restaurant in Moorabbin, Victoria. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our customers. This is a full-time position based in our Moorabbin location.
What you'll be doing
* Manage and lead a team of enthusiastic hospitality professionals
* Oversee the restaurant's front-of-house and back-of-house operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management
* Ensure exceptional customer service and a positive dining experience for all guests
* Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
* Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and regulations
* Analyse and report on key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
* Collaborate with the Molloy Management team to develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies
What we're looking for
* 3-5 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably within the hospitality and tourism industry.
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
* Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
* Proficient in inventory management, cost control, and financial reporting
* Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Valid driver's licence (any valid licence accepted)
* Food Safety Certificate required before commencement of employment
