We provide services to a variety of day surgical specialties, including a Post Anaesthetic Care Unit provides a high standard of patient care and recovery for post-surgery/procedures. Our unit specializes in a high turnover of cases, including pain management, urology, and plastics.**The Position*** Deliver outstanding patient care in the Day Surgery Unit, ensuring patients are treated with dignity and respect.* Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide optimal outcomes for patients.* Be a patient advocate, ensuring that their rights are upheld and their voices are heard.* Promote a welcoming, compassionate environment for patients and their families.* Demonstrate excellence in clinical practice, ensuring the highest standards of care are met.* Assist in managing patient flow and provide pre and post-operative care. You will hold current registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and have experience in the areas of scrub/scout, admission/discharge and an anaesthetic nurse. To succeed you will have excellent communication skills with a genuine passion for providing exceptional care to patients.
