Our hotel is seeking an experienced and passionate culinary leader to head our Lebanese cuisine team. As the chef de cuisine, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled chefs and cooks to deliver exceptional dining experiences that showcase authentic Lebanese flavors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute menus that highlight traditional Lebanese dishes and modern techniques.
2. Ensure the highest standards of taste, quality, and consistency in all dishes served.
3. Innovate with seasonal ingredients and Lebanese culinary trends while preserving traditional recipes.
4. Manage kitchen operations, including staffing, production, and mise en place.
5. Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and discipline.
6. Coordinate with sous chefs and kitchen team on food preparation, station assignments, and service timing.
7. Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience through culinary storytelling.
8. Participate in menu tastings, food festivals, and special events to promote Lebanese cuisine.
9. Respond professionally to guest feedback and implement necessary improvements.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of experience as Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
* Deep expertise in Lebanese culinary traditions.
* Proven leadership and team management skills.
* Fluency in English; Arabic fluency is a strong asset.
* Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
* HACCP or relevant food safety certification required.
