The Opportunity
Snowy River Launceston requires an experienced Salesperson to join our new dealership. The successful candidate will primarily work within a small team but will also need to work autonomously at times; self-motivation is highly valued. Experience in the caravan industry is preferred, but experience in the boat or automotive industries could also be advantageous. The role involves working at our dealership and actively participating in caravan leisure shows and exhibitions.
Reporting to the Dealer Manager, the role requires ensuring our brands are represented professionally, with a strong focus on customer service and generating new caravan sales.
Key Accountabilities
1. Promote, sell, and secure orders from prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
2. Demonstrate products and services to existing and potential customers, assisting them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
3. Research sources for developing new prospects and relevant information to determine their potential.
4. Develop clear and effective proposals and quotations for current and prospective customers.
5. Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly.
6. Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, management, accounting, logistics, and technical service teams.
7. Identify opposition and compare our products/services with competitors.
8. Provide management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
9. Achieve sales targets set in conjunction with the Dealer Manager.
10. Stay informed about product applications, technical services, market conditions, and promotional trends through relevant literature and consultation with marketing and technical teams.
