About the role
We have a permanent full-time opportunity for an applicant that has skills in Design, Consultation and Teamwork and strong administration skills in funding submissions and accountability documentation for landscape design projects.
The position requires highly developed project management skills including task and time management, setting priorities, planning and managing workloads to complete projects within prescribed timeframes, on budget, and with limited supervision. You will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in undertaking the design and documentation of major landscape works, relative to public open space areas.
You will develop and prepare landscape design, documentation and reporting for a range of complex park land and road landscape projects.
Skills & Qualifications
* Degree qualifications in landscape architecture or a related design field
* Accreditation with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) as a registered landscape architect (desirable)
* Demonstrated experience in developing solutions when faced with new problems and opportunities related to open space design.
* Demonstrated skills in managing time, setting priorities and planning and organising work schedules to achieve specific and set objectives in the most efficient way possible within the resources available.
* High level of proficiency using freehand graphics, computer-aided design (including AutoCAD and Adobe Creative suite) and desktop publishing and presentation software, as well as Microsoft Office (Standard) software.
* C Class Drivers Licence
