We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Senior Estimator to join our manufacturing team in Burleigh Heads, Queensland. You will liaise with PHF customers and clients to provide quotations, technical advice, product information and support to secure sales internally.We produce high quality industrial hoses, piping systems, fittings and couplings as well as lined pipes for some of the biggest industrial sectors in Australia.Our clients include Tier 1 organisations, and our solutions serve a broad range of industries. Our products are applied across sectors such as oil and gas, mining, commercial plumbing, defence, aerospace, water treatment, chemical processing, and aviation.As an industry leader, we're seeking a skilled candidate who can maintain our high standards while contributing to the company's continued growth and future success.ResponsibilitiesEnsure accuracy of quotations as well as best price, stock availability and deadlines.Provide technical information and other support for quotations as directed.Price and coordinate submission of tenders in consultation with Business Development Managers.Provide intelligence and feedback from quotation follow ups and inform Business Development Managers.Customer enquiries are answered promptly and account management practices followed.Promote sales of PHF products to all customers or potential customers.Maintain and build customer relationships.Ensure regular updating of client and customer databaseQualificationsKnowledge and experience in the hose industry or an associated industry (Highly desirable)Certificate III or Certificate IV in Business or Customer Contact (Highly desirable)Experience within a self-managed sales team or an administration environmentHighly developed customer contact relationship building skillsProven experience in phone, internet, email salesStrong Computer SkillsStrong literacy and numeracy skillsAbility to use a sales and stock management computer systemsWhat You'll Bring A positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyondAn understanding that we all Work Safe to Go Home SafeA willingness to be a Team playerPersonal Growth and Emerging Talent At PHF, we take a proactive approach to the development of emerging and future leaders and have a structured program to support their growth, build critical skills and prepare them for long-term success within the organisation.
