Our client, a global manufacturing company, is actively seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a designated individual with a strong background in manufacturing or distribution, or a CPA currently working in Public Accounting who is looking to transition into industry.
The successful candidate will have experience with general accounting in a manufacturing environment, knowledge about internal controls and compliance, and a high level of attention to detail.
The candidate should also be able to work both independently and as part of a team, prioritizing team objectives and effective communication.

Primary Responsibilities:
Intercompany reconciliations and reporting, along with month-end and year-end processes and reporting.
Navigating complex inventory reconciliations and intercompany transactions, identifying root causes and dealing with details.
Assisting audit and compliance teams with reviews and internal controls.
Preparing audit working documents and reconciling all accounts.
Assisting with forecasting and financial planning.
Analyzing risk and providing accurate information on risk and variances used for business decision-making.
Reporting cost status for project work and working alongside project teams to analyze variances.
Qualifications and Experience:
To be considered you must have your CPA designation or be close to completing it.
3+ years of strong general accounting experience from manufacturing or distribution, or 3+ years experience working in Public Accounting.
A background in inventory accounting, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, experience using pivot tables.
To be eligible for this role, you must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
