About the Role
Just Support Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Support Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month maternity leave contract, with the potential for the role to continue on an ongoing basis.
This is a hands-on, KPI-driven leadership role suited to an experienced Support Coordinator who can balance people leadership, participant outcomes, and operational performance. You will lead a small Support Coordination team, maintain oversight of service delivery, and hold a caseload to remain connected to frontline practice.
Success in this role will be measured through clear performance indicators relating to service quality, compliance, productivity, and participant outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Performance
* Lead, supervise, and support Support Coordinators to meet individual and team KPIs.
* Monitor team performance against agreed KPIs, including caseload management, billable utilisation, documentation timeframes, and participant outcomes.
* Provide regular feedback, coaching, and performance support to ensure KPIs are achieved sustainably.
* Foster a positive, accountable, and supportive team culture.
* Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of staff.
Operational Oversight & Compliance
* Oversee caseload allocation and workload balance to optimise service delivery and performance.
* Ensure compliance with NDIS requirements, internal policies, and quality standards.
* Monitor documentation, reporting, and billing accuracy within required timeframes.
* Identify and address performance risks, service gaps, and systemic issues.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and service development.
Participant Outcomes & Practice Leadership
* Manage a caseload of NDIS participants, including those with complex and/or psychosocial needs.
* Ensure participant goals, capacity building, and outcomes remain central to service delivery.
* Support staff in managing complex cases, risks, and critical incidents.
Essential Criteria
* Experience as an NDIS Support Coordinator (Level 2 or higher).
* Demonstrated experience working in a KPI-driven environment.
* Previous leadership, senior coordination, or supervisory experience.
* Strong working knowledge of the NDIS, including price guide, funding structures, and support item rules.
* High-level communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
* Proven ability to balance quality outcomes with productivity and performance expectations.
* Experience supporting participants with complex needs and/or psychosocial disability.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a geographically diverse team.
* Willingness to travel across the region as required.
* Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience monitoring or reporting on KPIs, utilisation, or performance data.
* Knowledge of local service landscapes (Shoalhaven, Illawarra, South Coast, Greater South West Sydney).
