About the Role
The successful candidate will take ownership of contract administration as well as general financial management. Key responsibilities include leading and overseeing contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors, ensuring risks are appropriately managed. The role also involves preparing and reporting on Work-in-Progress (WIP), cash flow, and margin performance. Furthermore, the successful candidate will support the CFO/Commercial Manager in financial forecasting, project costing, and commercial risk management.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage contract claims, retentions, and variations to maximise profitability and cash flow.
* Develop and improve reporting systems, controls, and best-practice commercial processes.
* Collaborate with project and operations teams to ensure contract compliance and financial accuracy.
