About the Opportunity
All of our employees play a part in ensuring we work together to achieve positive outcomes for our Community. To help us achieve this we are looking for a Team Leader to manage the Animal Shelter. You will be a suitably qualified, strong people leader who possesses excellent customer service skills, demonstrated experience in a similar role and a good level of computer literacy and administration skills.
On a typical day our
Animal Shelter Team Leader
will:
* Manage animal daily care, including, but not limited to; cleaning, rehoming, and microchipping.
* Coordinate the administration needs of the shelter.
* Utilise stakeholder networks and social media platforms to assist in returning and rehoming animals.
* Enforce animal control measures and legislation in relation to the impounding of animals.
* Lead, support and coordinate daily operations.
* Develop, mentor, coach and empower staff.
Remuneration And Benefits
Employment type: Permanent, full-time (38 hours per week with access to Council's Flexible Working Hours policy). Weekend work may be required.
Salary (exclusive of super): Starting salary of $77,704 per year with
the opportunity for competency-based progression.
