Growing Victorian law firm seeking an experienced Principal Lawyer to lead practice operations, drive business growth and maintain high professional standards.
Key responsibilities
* Lead and manage legal team; supervise solicitors and support staff
* Provide high‐level legal advice and run complex matters across litigation, family, criminal and commercial files as required
* Appear in Victorian courts and tribunals; lead advocacy and negotiations
* Oversee practice management: billing, risk & compliance, PII, file reviews and CPD
Requirements
* Admitted solicitor in Australia with an unrestricted practising certificate valid in Victoria (mandatory)
* Minimum 3+ years post‐admission experience with proven senior litigation/practice‐management background
* Strong leadership, commercial acumen, advocacy, drafting and client‐management skills
* Clean professional/character record and eligibility for professional indemnity insurance
* Right to work in Australia and available to be based in Truganina
