About the Position:
As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our reservations department.
This role plays a vital part in driving revenue growth and maximizing room occupancy through effective inventory management, rate strategy, and team performance.
* Supervise and support the reservations team to deliver exceptional customer service and efficiency.
* Manage daily reservation activities including individual, group, and corporate bookings.
* Ensure all bookings are accurately recorded in our property management system and CRM.
* Collaborate with the Revenue and Sales teams to monitor availability, rate strategy, and booking trends.
* Resolve escalated reservation queries or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
* Develop and train team members to ensure they adhere to company standards and procedures.
* Provide insights on occupancy, booking pace, and other key reservation metrics.
* Stay up-to-date with room rates, packages, promotions, and market trends.
* Liaise with other departments to facilitate smooth communication regarding special requests, VIP bookings, or group arrangements.
About You:
* Minimum of 2 years proven experience in hotel reservations or front office operations, with supervisory experience.
* Familiarity with property management systems (Opera desirable).
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
* Fluent English, verbally & written.
