Business Analyst
Auto & General Australia is looking for a Business Analyst to join our Claims & Assessing Division. The role reports to the Change Delivery Manager and is focused on designing and developing solutions for claims and assessing processes.
Responsibilities
* Gather system and process requirements and design innovative solutions to business problems.
* Facilitate workshops, conduct field and desk research, interviews, user surveys, competitor analysis and web analytics.
* Develop business process maps and translate business requirements into functional and system specifications for the IT department.
* Effectively manage issues, change requests and testing, ensuring solutions fully meet original requirements.
* Monitor post‐implementation changes for success and contribute to project and program delivery.
* Build trust with stakeholders, investigate process‐improvement opportunities, champion continuous improvement and maintain a positive, proactive stance.
* Ensure change support through policy, training materials, reference documents and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in a related discipline.
* Minimum of 2–5 years' experience as a Business Analyst.
* Strong business process modelling (BPMN, Visio), as‐is/to‐be mapping and data modelling skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation and stakeholder management abilities.
* High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work autonomously.
* Experience managing and completing user acceptance testing.
* Strong problem‐solving skills, comfortable with complexity and ambiguity.
* Passion for the user experience.
