Auto Electrician Job Description
The ideal candidate for this role will be skilled and experienced in performing maintenance on heavy equipment. This includes breakdown maintenance, planned and periodic maintenance, as well as liaising with OEMs and other parts suppliers.
Job Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance on mobile equipment to ensure optimal performance
* Identify and repair faults in electrical systems
* Liaise with suppliers to obtain necessary parts and components
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate 3 in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent qualification
* At least three years of experience in auto electrical work, preferably in an underground fleet setting
* Manual Queensland driver's license
* Physical fitness and ability to pass a medical assessment and police clearance
