Maintenance Fitter (Industrial Services)
Nestlé is seeking a Maintenance Fitter (Industrial Services) to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of plant and equipment across industrial service operations.
This role involves performing preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on mechanical systems, as well as supporting continuous improvement initiatives in utilities and production environments.
Under the supervision of our Maintenance Manager, the main duties of the position include:
Mechanical maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on industrial equipment such as pumps, compressors, valves, conveyors, boilers, heat exchangers, and rotating machinery.
Carrying out preventive and predictive maintenance tasks in accordance with the maintenance plan and reliability program.
Diagnosing mechanical faults and implementing effective, lasting solutions to reduce downtime.
Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment and utilities infrastructure.
Maintaining and servicing industrial services systems, including:
Compressed air, steam, and condensate networks
Cooling towers, chillers, and water treatment systems
Vacuum and hydraulic systems
Collaborating with electricians, operators, and engineers to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.
Maintaining accurate maintenance records and work orders in the CMMS system (SAP / MEX / Pronto or equivalent).
Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards, and participating in risk assessments and safe work procedures (SWPs/JHAs).
Contributing to continuous improvement activities to enhance equipment reliability, performance, and energy efficiency.
About youCertificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitter/Machinist) or equivalent
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in an industrial, utilities, or manufacturing environment
Experience working with industrial services equipment (compressors, boilers, pumps, cooling towers, etc.) preferred
Confined Space, Working at Heights, and Hot Work certifications desirable
Basic welding/fabrication skills advantageous
