At Droppoint Australia, we're transforming the way field service organisations manage their materials, logistics, and operations. We combine proprietary software with smart physical logistics solutions to create seamless, scalable, and cost-effective systems that deliver real-world impact.
Our customers span medical devices, technology, elevators, and other industries with complex service needs and we help them deliver results, every day: Right Part, Right Place, Right Time.
About the Role
We're looking for a Transport Solutions Manager to join our growing Implementations Team, acting as the subject matter expert (SME) for all things transport — especially complex, non-standard, or project logistics requirements. This role is responsible for our most intricate and specialised transport service lines, supporting our customers in the energy and field service sectors.
As a trusted advisor within the business, you'll support solution design, source fit‑for‑purpose supplier partners, and take accountability for operational and cost performance of bespoke logistics offerings. You'll also be the go‑to escalation point when challenges arise; helping us uphold Droppoint's promise to "solve problems, not symptoms."
What You'll Be Doing
Act as the SME for complex and non‑standard transport solutions across Droppoint's operations
Own and manage end‑to‑end project logistics service lines, including performance, cost, and issue resolution
Support solution design alongside the Solutions Team and Account Managers during customer onboarding or tenders
Identify, evaluate, and engage supplier partners (e.g. carriers, couriers, freight forwarders) to meet Droppoint's transport requirements
Monitor supplier performance and conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to ensure alignment with SLAs and cost objectives
Troubleshoot transport issues and coordinate recovery or workaround strategies with internal stakeholders
Contribute to Droppoint's evolving transport strategy, helping shape the future of our logistics infrastructure
Collaborate with customer‑facing teams to ensure smooth service delivery across the customer journey
What We're Looking For
5+ years' experience in transport, logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably with project, complex, or time‑critical freight
Strong operational background with deep knowledge of logistics and transport industries
Proven ability to work with suppliers to achieve strong service performance
Strong understanding of transport network design, national freight routing, and operational constraints
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills both internal and external
Hands‑on mindset and ability to solve problems quickly, think on your feet, and take accountability
Proficiency with logistics systems, transport management software, and Excel/analytics tools
Ability to travel as required to support solution deployment
What We Offer
A chance to be part of a growing, values‑driven business solving real‑world problems
The opportunity to own and shape key logistics offerings across a national footprint
A collaborative team culture that values expertise, accountability, and practical solutions
Competitive salary and growth opportunities in a growing business
If you're ready to bring your transport expertise into a solution‑focused role and want to help us build the next generation of smart logistics services — we'd love to hear from you.
