The Southern Program Alliance has been contracted by the Victorian Government to remove most dangerous and congested level crossings, which is a critical infrastructure project with significant public impact.
Work on a high-profile infrastructure project as part of a global team using continuous improvement methodology and innovative technology that enables us to leave a genuine legacy.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Implement project sustainability objectives and targets in line with legislative and contractual requirements.
 * Provide specialist sustainability advice to the wider team.
 * Contribute to project sustainability strategies and initiatives.
 * Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including LXRA and rating authorities.
 * Assist in developing Sustainability scope documentation.
 * Conduct required site audits to record sustainability checklist requirements.
 * Implement reporting requirements like NGERS, water, waste, materials and Whole of Life.
 * Drive construction and office waste resource recovery initiatives and implementation.
 * Collect and analyze subcontractor and supplier sustainability performance data.
 * Monitor, review and assess sustainability performance on a regular basis.
 * Assist in preparation of ISCA Design and As Built submissions in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
 * Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Environmental Science or Sustainability.
 * Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
 * Demonstrated capacity for managing ISCA throughout the project lifecycle.
 * Awareness of the Green Star rating system.
 * Ability to communicate plans and activities to assist in the coordination of work.
 * Awareness of project traffic objectives and their importance to success, including ability to report traffic concerns/issues.
 * Fluent in the Microsoft Office suite of desktop applications and related software packages.
