Move Management Consultant (12 months Fixed Term) at Sirva, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia. The role supports international and/or domestic relocations for one of our largest clients. On-site during probation with a hybrid model once regularized.

Position Overview
The Move Management Consultant is responsible for delivering customer service and coordinating relocations end to end. You will apply high attention to detail and strong problem-solving to manage a variety of daily tasks.
Responsibilities
1. Provide communication to relocatee regarding the status of all elements of their move.
2. Interpret and explain how each policy applies to the relocations.
3. Actively manage relocatee issues and ensure 360-degree communication to provide resolutions.
4. Follow up with moving services branches and third-party suppliers for outstanding information on client moves or quotations.
5. Pass on information effectively, both orally and in writing.
6. Demonstrate keen influencing and negotiating skills.
7. Customer Focus (external & Internal)
8. Identify and act on customer needs; acknowledge and respect both internal and external customers; deliver accurate information and quality service targets.
9. Teamwork
10. Report issues and escalate as needed to ensure customer satisfaction; collaborate with peers with integrity and respect; contribute input to team operations.
11. Work Organization
12. Coordinate packing/shipping/storage of relocates' belongings, cars, and animals; liaise between relocatee, client, removalist and third-party suppliers; track progress to delivery.
13. Coordinate travel, transport, and accommodation arrangements; administer initiation and activation documentation; maintain files for each relocatee.
14. Make timely contacts with relocates within KPI targets; plan effectively and maintain accuracy and reliability; adapt to change and develop new concepts as needed.
15. Finance and Billing
16. Reconcile and authorize third-party invoices; perform budgeting and costing estimates as required, coordinating third-party quotations.
17. Systems
* Maintain follow-up systems and maximize success rates; work according to the Company Quality System; maintain internal databases as necessary.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience delivering a high level of client service.
* Excellent ability to build rapport and relationships with clients.
* Good written and verbal communication and diplomacy skills.
* Ability to think and present ideas clearly and logically.
* Team player with initiative and drive.
* Experience in a customer-focused or administrative role providing end-to-end services supporting government clientele; experience in international relocations or moving services is highly regarded.
