The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Product Manager to join the team. This role will provide the chance to work across product development, partner management, and reinsurance initiatives, contributing directly to the delivery of innovative insurance solutions.
What You'll Do:
* Manage and support strategic distribution partners and reinsurers, ensuring smooth day‐to‐day operations and compliance with regulatory and governance standards.
* Provide technical insurance expertise to support product initiatives, including product enhancements, risk assessments, and customer‐facing documentation.
* Collaborate across internal teams‐claims, underwriting, compliance, marketing, and sales‐to deliver end‐to‐end product solutions and respond to partner queries.
* Lead and contribute to product‐related projects, from concept through implementation, supporting the competitiveness and sustainability of the insurance offering.
* Review and influence partner and reinsurance agreements to deliver agreed commercial outcomes.
* Drive improvements in product processes and contribute to a culture of high performance and governance excellence.
Who You Are:
* You bring strong technical knowledge of life insurance products and the Australian regulatory environment.
* You are skilled at building and maintaining stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally.
* You thrive in collaborative, cross‐functional settings and are comfortable managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* You have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a practical approach to project delivery.
