Responsibilities
* Handle end-to-end customs clearance processes for import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
* Review customs documentation, classify goods according to customs regulations, and determine duty rates and tax liabilities.
* Resolve customs-related issues and provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and proactively resolving any clearance issues.
* Collaborate closely with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and internal teams for efficient and timely clearance.
Qualifications
* Secondary education or equivalent.
* At least three (3) years of work experience in Customs.
* Approved Diploma of Customs Broking or an earlier equivalent accredited customs course, in accordance with Australian Border Force requirements.
* Strong knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and trade compliance.
* Proficient in customs clearance software and online customs portal.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & PC.
* Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
* Proven expertise in planning & organizing, with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
