Role Description
This is a volunteer Bookkeeper role, conducted remotely via Zoom, or in person (if you are in SE Victoria). The Bookkeeper will maintain accurate bookkeeping and assist in preparing yearly financial statements. The position involves using accounting software or Excel to create explicit financial records.
We require a couple of hours every other month to prepare the accounts.
Collaboration and communication with the director will be part of the role.
Requirements
Warm and personable manner
Proficiency in Bookkeeping and managing Financial Statements>
Experience with Accounting Software and Finance management
Organizational and attention-to-detail skills are essential
Clear and effective communication skills for collaboration
Previous experience in a volunteer or community-focused role is a plus but not essential
Knowledge of non-profit financial management is an advantage
Minimum Commitment
12 months
