Job Overview
The role of Small Business Banker is a critical position within the Small Business Banking team.
This key position prioritizes customer obsession and undertakes sales-related requirements for a portfolio of Small Business customers.
* Establish relationships with business partners to create and implement new business opportunities and support our clients.
* Manage Salesforce opportunities & national leads, taking action to achieve successful outcomes.
* Undertake retention activities for existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
As a Small Business Banker, you will also perform credit analysis and approve temporary excesses/increased limit requests, provide coaching, lead actions, and model great behaviors across the broader business.
* Manage lending and product requests for small business customers, understanding their unique needs.
* Develop holistic banking solutions that cater to customers' business requirements.
* Be accountable for managing customer complaints and escalations until resolution is reached.
* Coach and develop less experienced bankers within the team, as well as associates.
* Drive customer portfolio risk and compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
* Establish and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders, including retail partners and other business partners.
We are seeking individuals who possess a genuine passion for customer service, a background in agriculture or agribusiness (preferred), demonstrated experience in a lending role, and expertise in managing customer relationships and the credit process.
A strong financial/business acumen, problem-solving, time management, critical thinking, and negotiation skills are essential for this role.
