A Lead Digital Engineer manages defined tasks across projects, ensuring compliance with procedures and processes. This role spans all project phases—from pre-project and early engagement to detailed delivery—supporting the Digital Engineering offerings through a dynamic working and learning environment.

Responsibilities:
1. Lead the setup and implementation of Digital Engineering on projects, applying influence, input, processes, and protocols throughout all project stages.
2. Develop and upskill Laing O'Rourke staff in Digital Engineering responsibilities through training, workshops, and communication, leveraging project relationships.
3. Influence and guide the development of project-specific digital solutions aligned with our Digital Engineering offerings.
4. Lead the development of 3D models, maintaining comprehensive knowledge of project information and documentation, with agreed levels of detail.
5. Manage a team, including Senior Digital Engineers, Digital Engineers, or Assistant Digital Engineers, depending on project scope.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of industry standards such as BS1192, ISO19650, or similar.
- Model and data management expertise.
- Development of Digital Strategies.
- Model federation and management skills.
- Model review and analysis capabilities.
- Experience with Revit software.
- Desirable: experience with Navisworks.
